Objects in the rear view mirror may appear closer than they are is one of my favourite songs and this poto reminds me of that song……….

Ok I know it’s a wing mirror but it’s still a car mirror and reminds me of that song :)

It’s also reminding me at the minute that objects in the mirror are behind me, like some of the tough times we’ve been going through and they’ll always be behind us, no longer present, so we should try move forward with our life. :)

9am is mid morning at the MumtoJ house. By 9am I’d already fed my child, washed and dressed him, prepared lunch, done 2 loads of washing and hung it out on the line (yes it’s finally stopped raining!), built a fort in the living room, played a computer game, drawn pictures of said computer game with J, sorted through some paperwork  and drunk several cups of coffee. By 9am we were making cupcakes………………………….

I chose this photo today because it kinda symbolises how slow life seems to be moving along at the minute……….at a snail’s pace. Just when we think things can’t possibly get any worse something comes along to prove us wrong. I feel like hiding away in my shell at the minute but I know all the crap (sorry) will still be waiting at our door when I emerge. *sigh*

J tells me he’s not a Thomas fan anymore because he’s for babies……………………………..

So he absolutely, definitely doesn’t like Thomas anymore………………this just happens to be his favourite plate and he can’t change that even if he doesn’t lie him anymore! ;) LOL

This is a post for the BritMums #ColourMeInRK competition, sponsored by Kellogg’s.

Yesterday we received a (very large) box of Colour Me In Rice Krispies and a brilliant bumper colouring pack.

J thought the Colouring Case as fab and couldn’t wait to colour his special box of Rice Krispies. He’s not very keen on paints etc and needs alot of encouragement to use them but he loves pencils and felt pens. He was particularly impressed with the “magic pens”, you know the ones that change colour when you use the white pen.

J had great fun decorating the characters on his Rice Krispies box. Once he’d finished decorating the box he even asked if he could have some of his “special Rice Krispies”.

The finished product…………………….

There’s lots more colouring fun to be found at Kellogg’s. :)
